Alpha Chi Omega was founded on October 15, 1885 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana by seven young women. Today, Alpha Chi has over 170,000 members located throughout the world. There are 132 collegiate chapters on college and university campuses throughout the United States and 200 alumnae chapters. On September 25, 1985 the Zeta Pi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was the 13th National Panhellenic group to join the Arizona State University Greek system and the Chapter still stands strong today.
